Alison Newell Dpt

Alison Newell DPT currently serves as a Physical Therapist at Saco Bay Orthopaedic & Sports Physical Therapy since July 2017. Alison was previously the Class President for the UNE DPT Class of 2017, where honors included the Outstanding Student Department Service Award. Responsibilities involved coordinating workshops, organizing events, and facilitating various activities to enhance student engagement. Clinical experience includes roles as a Student Physical Therapist at MaineGeneral Health and The Aroostook Medical Center, as well as a Physical Therapy Aide at Massabesic Health Resources. Early career experiences included work as a Sales Floor Associate at Target and an Associate at Panera Bread, alongside tutoring roles and special education support. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of New England, completed in 2017, and a Bachelor of Science degree with a focus on Health Science and Occupational Studies, earned in 2014.
