Adrienne Armstrong

Adrienne Armstrong has extensive experience in proofreading and copyediting across various organizations. Since 1995, Adrienne has served as a proofreader for Mother Jones, ensuring the accuracy of magazine articles. Current roles include proofreading for the Sacramento Area Council of Governments, where Adrienne has been active since December 2019, and as a copy editor for the Center for the Collaborative Classroom since August 2023. Additionally, Adrienne has worked with North Atlantic Books since 2001, refining manuscripts in fields such as arts and humanities, and contributed to IMA | Institute of Management Accountants from May 2020 to June 2023. Sacramento Area Council of Governments

The Sacramento Area Council of Governments (SACOG) is an association of local governments in the six-county Sacramento Region. Its members include the counties of El Dorado, Placer, Sacramento, Sutter, Yolo and Yuba as well as 22 cities within these counties. SACOG provides transportation planning and funding for the region, and serves as a forum for the study and resolution of regional issues. In addition to preparing the region's long-range transportation plan, SACOG approves the distribution of affordable housing in the region and assists in planning for transit, bicycle networks, clean air and airport land uses.
