David J. Lopez is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in investment management and analysis. Currently serving as a member of the Selections Team and Angel Investor at Sacramento Angels since 2021, David contributes to supporting innovative early-stage companies. Prior to this role, David held the position of Portfolio Manager at Grassi Investment Management from 2019 to 2020, where a focus on investment research and active stock and bond selection led to significant outperformance. As a Portfolio Associate at Sand Hill Global Advisors from 2016 to 2019, David was involved in investment research and portfolio management. David's earlier experiences include leadership roles at the Student Investment Fund at California State University-Sacramento and a position as a Legislative Staffer with the California State Assembly. David earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and a Minor in Political Science from California State University-Sacramento.
