John Peters

John Peters is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in technology and software management. Currently, John serves as the Chairman and President of Sacramento Angels and as an Advisor for SkyDeck Berkeley since 2017. Previously, John held senior leadership roles at BMC Software, including Chief of Staff for the Cloud and Automation Software Business and Vice President and General Manager of the Atrium Software Business. John’s career also includes significant positions at Hewlett-Packard, where responsibilities ranged from leading operations for HP Software R&D to managing product portfolios and strategic initiatives across global teams. John holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems and Accounting from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
