John Selep is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the agricultural technology sector and entrepreneurship. As Co-Founder and Board Chair of AgTech Innovation Alliance, John has played a pivotal role in fostering innovation through the AgStart program. Currently serving as Co-Founder, Board Director, and CFO at The Vine Institute, John supports the growth of the agricultural technology sector in California. Additionally, as a Board Director at Sacramento Angels, John has enhanced collaboration among angel groups and institutions. With a background as Managing Director at Insight & Execution and Founder/Managing Partner at AgTech Innovation Partners, John advises emerging technology companies and supports early-stage startups. Previously, John's operational and engineering expertise was honed through various managerial roles at HP Networking and VeriFone, and foundational education includes an MBA from Harvard Business School and advanced degrees from Stanford University and Boston University.
