Gina O'Neal is an experienced professional with a strong background in air quality planning and grant administration. Currently serving as Coordinator for the Sacramento Clean Cities Coalition and as an Air Quality Planner/Analyst/Grant Writer for the Sacramento Metropolitan Air Quality Management District since December 2016, Gina has been pivotal in managing grant funding activities and identifying funding opportunities. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Grants Analyst at Sacramento Regional Transit and various administrative positions including Administrator at DKS Associates and Education for Healthy Choices. Gina holds a Graduate Studies degree in Public Policy Analysis and Criminal Justice from Walden University, a BS in Human Services Management from the University of Phoenix, and an AA in Chemical Dependency/Human Services from American River College.

About Us Sac Metro Air District is designated by EPA as part of the Sacramento Federal Ozone Nonattainment Area (SFNA), which is comprised of all of Sacramento and Yolo Counties, the eastern portion of Solano County, the southern portion of Sutter County, the western slopes of El Dorado and Placer Counties up to the Sierra crest, and includes four other local air districts. Sac Metro Air District is responsible for monitoring air pollution within the Basin and for developing and administering programs to reduce air pollution levels below the health-based standards established by the state and federal governments.
