Channa M. Cook, PhD (Cook-Harvey) has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Channa M. began their educational journey at Stanford University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English, completing their studies between 1998 and 2002. Inspired by their undergraduate experience, Channa pursued further education at Stanford and obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Education & Teaching of English Literature from 2002 to 2003.

Seeking to expand their knowledge and impact in the field of education, Channa Cook-Harvey enrolled at Pepperdine University from 2006 to 2007. Here, they accomplished a Master of Science (MS) degree in Educational Leadership & Administration.

With a strong foundation in various facets of education, Channa continued their academic pursuits at Stanford University, where they embarked on a transformative journey researching Race, Inequality, and Language in Education. Over the course of three years, from 2012 to 2015, they dedicated their time to their doctoral studies, ultimately earning a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree.
