Kathy Kerr-Carpenter

Kathy Kerr-Carpenter is an accomplished costume design professional with extensive experience in the theatre industry. Currently serving as the Costume Shop Supervisor at Broadway Sacramento since 2016, Kathy oversees the workflow and maintenance of costume shop operations for seasonal productions. Concurrently, Kathy also works as a Cutter/Draper at Sacramento Theatre Company, supervising the costume production process. Previous roles include Adjunct Professorships at American River College and Sacramento City College, and Program Director/Lead Faculty at the International Academy of Design and Technology. Additionally, Kathy has experience in church leadership and manages various educational and budgeting responsibilities. Kathy holds a Doctorate of Management in Organizational Development and Change from Colorado Technical University, a Master’s Degree from Boston University, and a BFA from Illinois Wesleyan University.
