Nancy Smith-Fagan

Nancy Smith-Fagan is an experienced leader in institutional advancement and marketing, currently serving as the Director of Institutional Advancement and Marketing at Sacramento Zoo since February 2025. Concurrently, Nancy holds positions as a Board Member at the Rotary Club of Sacramento and as a Member of the Board of Trustees at the Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services. Previous roles include serving as the Executive Director of Development at the YMCA of Superior California, Director of Philanthropy at International Bird Rescue, and various advancement positions at Christian Brothers High School, Sacramento, as well as the Director of Development at St. Mary School. Nancy holds a Master's degree from Temple University and a Bachelor's degree from the University of San Diego.
