Alexandra Bothos McGoldrick

Alexandra Bothos McGoldrick currently serves as the Director of Grants for Research and Sponsored Programs at Sacred Heart University since July 2023. Prior to this role, Alexandra spent nearly a decade at Optimus Health Care, Inc., first as a Development Officer and then as Grants Administration Manager, focusing on expanding the philanthropic portfolio and overseeing grant funding. Alexandra's earlier experience includes positions as Acting Director and Grants Writer at the City of Bridgeport, CT, where responsibilities encompassed managing grant funding and developing proposals across various departments. Additional roles include Grants Coordinator at the Bridgeport Regional Business Council, Human Resources/Grants Coordinator at Trumbull Monroe Health District, and Economic and Community Development Coordinator for the Town of Monroe, CT. Alexandra earned a Master of Arts in Public Administration from Missouri State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Sacred Heart University.
