Annie Johnson

Annie Wendel Johnson is an experienced professional in community engagement and service learning, currently serving as the Director of the Office of Community Engagement at Sacred Heart University since August 2017. Previously, Annie held roles including Assistant Director for Volunteer Programs and Service Learning, and Community Engagement Fellow at Beyond Soccer, Inc. Additionally, experience includes facilitating youth development programs at Family Centered Services of Connecticut and serving as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant with the Institute of International Education. With a Master of Education in Community Engagement from Merrimack College and a Bachelor of Arts in Public and Community Service from Providence College, Annie has a strong background in program management, curriculum development, and volunteer coordination, alongside significant engagement in international education and community service initiatives.
