Cara Erdheim Kilgallen

Cara Erdheim Kilgallen is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in English literature. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at Sacred Heart University since September 2010, Cara has taught a wide range of subjects, including sports literature and the Catholic Intellectual Tradition. Additionally, Cara has held various roles, including Chairperson in the Department of Languages & Literatures at Sacred Heart University and an Adjunct Professor of English at John Jay College, where teaching African American Literature was particularly impactful. Cara earned a Doctor of Philosophy in English Language and Literature from Fordham University, further enhancing teaching expertise that began during graduate studies, and holds dual Bachelor's degrees in English and Spanish from Colby College.
