Melinda Formica

Melinda Formica, CFRE, currently serves as the Executive Director for Advancement, Parents & Family Giving and Executive Director of Advancement at the Jack Welch College of Business and Technology at Sacred Heart University, a position held since January 2022. Prior experience includes roles at Quinnipiac University from August 2006 to January 2022, where contributions included strategic development in parent and family engagement, leadership in The President's Council, and oversight of fundraising efforts across various schools. Melinda also worked as a Major Gifts Officer at Cheshire Academy from 2003 to 2006 and as Director of Public Support at the American Red Cross, Waterbury Area Chapter from 1993 to 1997, among other roles. Melinda holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Master of Arts in Communications from the University of Hartford.
