John Kennedy

John joined Sacro in May 2018. As Director of Public Protection and Community Safety, he overseas Health and Safety, National Intensive Support Packages, Domestic Abuse and Gender Based Violence Services, ensuring that high risk victims and perpetrators are managed and supported to the highest standards.

John worked with Strathclyde Police and then Police Scotland for 30 years where he gained significant experience in Adult & Child Protection, Offender Management and Domestic Abuse. He was regarded as one of Scotland’s most experienced Senior Investigating Officers and led over 25 Homicide and Corporate Homicide investigations.
