Guillermo Fernandez Madrid

Guillermo Fernandez Madrid is a seasoned civil and mining engineer with extensive experience in construction and tunneling projects. Currently serving as Jefe de obra at SACYR since October 2021, Guillermo manages the railway works on the Zafra-Huelva line, also holding the position of Jefe de túnel for tunnel rehabilitation and previously as Jefe de producción for high-speed line enhancements. Prior experience includes a role as Jefe de relevo y producción at CAVOSA Obras y Proyectos, S.A., emphasizing civil works management and technical production, and an internship with Grupo HUNOSA focusing on post-mining project support. Guillermo holds an engineer's degree in Civil Engineering and Mining Resources from Universidad de Oviedo and a master's degree in Mining Engineering from Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha.
