Usman Mushtaq has extensive work experience in the field of supply chain and production scheduling. Usman started their career in 2003 as a Process Engineer at LyondellBasell. Usman then moved to BASF in 2004, where they worked as a Process Engineer and later as a Supply Chain Lead, responsible for identifying and resolving demand/supply imbalances. In 2007, Usman became the Global Supply Chain Manager at BASF, overseeing the supply chain functions for the global Chemical Catalyst business and introducing the concept of line day profitability. In 2015, they joined Sadara Chemical Company as the Manager of Production Scheduling, leading the development and implementation of work processes to execute the business strategy for the largest petrochemical plant ever built. In 2018, Usman was promoted to Supply Chain Director at Sadara Chemical Company.
Usman Mushtaq obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, from 1996 to 2000. Following that, they pursued a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering from McNeese State University from 2002 to 2004.
