Simon Hirst

Simon Hirst has extensive work experience in various finance and accounting roles. Simon is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at SIMEC Atlantis Energy Limited since 2022. Prior to this, they held positions such as MeyGen - Director of Finance & Commercial and Director - MeyGen at the same company.

Before joining SIMEC Atlantis Energy Limited, Simon worked as a Financial Controller at Veolia Water from 2013 to 2015. Simon also served as the Head of Finance (Contract) at SulzerWood in 2013, and as a Contract Accountant at Menzies Distribution in 2012.

Simon's earlier experience includes working as an NL Financial Controller at Intergen from 2010 to 2012, and as the Europe / UK Finance Manager at Iron Mountain from 2006 to 2010. Simon also held the position of Finance Manager at Grampian Country Food Group from 2003 to 2006, and European Finance Manager at PepsiCo from 1995 to 2000.

Simon Hirst attended Aston University from 1986 to 1990, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Management & Administration.
