Nicole Klues, a Senior Director for Safal Partners, offers 14 years of leadership experience in learning management systems design and implementation, course development, training, and developing high-performing teams. She has successfully implemented online and blended learning models to enhance learning outcomes in both K-12 and higher education at the local, state, and national levels. She is currently leading the U.S. Department of Labor Job Corps National Distance Learning project. Prior to joining Safal full-time, Nicole led the District of Columbia’s Public Schools Online Platforms and Professional Development team supporting hybrid and virtual instruction for over 50,000 students and 4,000 educators.
Nicole spearheaded the Delaware Department of Education’s LMS statewide implementation initiative and training efforts and led policy efforts with the Office of Higher Education resulting in the passing of a bill providing scholarship opportunities for underprivileged youth. Nicole’s passion and advocacy for accessible, equitable education has also led her to girls’ empowerment volunteer projects in India. As a certified yoga and meditation teacher, she practices mindful leadership. Nicole holds a Master of Arts degree from the University of Illinois, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Communication from Northern Illinois University. She is an Education Pioneer Alumnus and an award-winning educator.
