Claire Fortenberry Zunk

Claire Fortenberry Zunk is a Communications Specialist at Safari Club International, a position held since May 2021. Prior experience includes serving as an Executive Assistant at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, where Claire was the principal aid to the Director of the Joint Information Center during the COVID-19 response. Claire also worked as a Staff Assistant in the U.S. House of Representatives and completed a research internship at the Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum, focusing on the B-26 Invader Aircraft. An internship with Congressman Liz Cheney preceded these roles. Claire holds a degree in History with a Minor in Biology from Nebraska Wesleyan University and participated in a Study Abroad program with Round River Conservation Studies.
