Bernard Mwagiru

Bernard Mwagiru has over 15 years of experience in the telecommunications sector, currently serving as Manager of Core Network Support PS at Safaricom since March 2008. In this role, Bernard coordinates second line maintenance for core network infrastructure that supports 1 million simultaneous data sessions and provides long-term solutions for equipment servicing over 8 million data customers. Previous positions include Senior Packet Core Network Engineer at Safaricom, focusing on end-to-end network analysis and troubleshooting, and R&D/VAS Systems Architect, where responsibilities encompassed system administration, product evaluation, and feasibility studies. Bernard began the career as an Engineer for Nortel products at Pegrume Ltd and holds a B.E. in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Anna University Chennai, obtained in 2006.
