Evelyne Serro

Evelyne Serro currently serves as the Senior Manager of Sustainability at Safaricom PLC since November 2022, previously holding a sustainability role at BAT where responsibilities included overseeing ESG strategic plans in East African markets. With extensive experience in communications and stakeholder engagement from Tullow Oil, Evelyne contributed to the development of communication strategies and brand building, having progressed through various roles including Senior Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Advisor and Corporate Communications Officer. Prior experience includes managing communications at G4S Kenya and account management at Corporate Talk, complemented by an internship at Vice President Press Service. Evelyne holds a Master of Arts in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution from United States International University - Africa, as well as certifications in sustainability and public relations.
