Godfrey Kimani

Godfrey Kimani is a seasoned UX professional with extensive experience in design leadership, having served as UX Chapter Lead at Safaricom PLC since June 2020. Godfrey has successfully led teams of designers and ensured effective collaboration with cross-functional teams on various projects. Previous roles include Senior Product Designer and Product Designer at Safaricom, where Godfrey focused on user requirements, wireframing, prototyping, and establishing a comprehensive design system. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Design Engineer at Andela, where Godfrey interacted with clients to understand their objectives, and as Lead UI/UX Designer at Riverbank Solutions Ltd, where a strong creative vision was utilized to enhance user experiences. Godfrey began the design career as a Graphic Designer at Binary Ltd and holds a diploma in Graphic Design from Nairobits School of Design.
