Lazarus Mutende

Lazarus Mutende is an experienced financial professional currently serving as the Senior Manager for Credit Portfolio & Digital Lending and Analytics at Safaricom PLC since May 2023. Prior to this role, Lazarus held various positions at Absa Bank Kenya from February 2014 to April 2023, including Head of Secured Lending and Portfolio Manager for Secured Lending & SME. Lazarus earned a Bachelor's degree in Statistics and Economics from the University of Nairobi between October 1999 and March 2004.
