Mwaniki Njiru

Mwaniki Njiru is a seasoned UI/UX Designer at Safaricom PLC since September 2019, specializing in human-centered design practices such as design thinking methodologies, user interface design, and usability testing. Prior to this role, Mwaniki served as a Senior Data Centre Engineer at Safaricom from July 2011 to December 2018, overseeing the entire lifecycle of data centre management, including design, maintenance, and operational support. Mwaniki's career began as a Power Engineer at Outsource Techniques Ltd from May 2010 to June 2011, focusing on the maintenance of power and cooling systems. Mwaniki holds a Certified Data Centre Professional (CDCP) qualification from ICOR, achieved in 2011, and has an educational background from the University of Nairobi.
