Nasir Seid

Nasir Seid, MSc., is an experienced telecommunications professional with a strong background in network deployment and project management. Currently serving as the Network Deployment: OSP Design and BOQ Lead at Safaricom Telecommunications Ethiopia PLC since April 2023, Nasir has previously held multiple key positions at Huawei, including Implementation Project Manager and Technical Team Leader for significant projects such as the Camtel NBN Phase 2 and Cameroon Intelligent City FTTx Project. Additional experience includes roles as OSP Technical Director and Outside Plant TL at Huawei, where responsibility involved managing large-scale telecommunications projects like the Chad-Sudan National Backbone OSP Project. Earlier in their career, Nasir worked as a Senior Telecom Installations Engineer at Alkan CIT and held various engineering positions at ethio telecom, focusing on optical transmission networks. Nasir holds a Master of Science in Telecommunications Engineering from Politecnico di Torino and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Bahir Dar University.
