Eric Engel

Eric Engel is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in research and development, particularly in armor systems and custom weapon systems. Currently serving as a Principal R&D Engineer at Safariland since July 2022, Engel previously held the position of Engineering Manager at Military Systems Group, Inc., overseeing a team focused on prototype weapon systems for Special Forces and other military units. Engel's career includes roles as a Design Engineer at Nobles Worldwide, where design and training on custom weapon systems were key responsibilities, and at Bepex International LLC, where Engel specialized as a Senior Design Engineer and Project Manager for significant equipment designs. Engel's engineering journey began as a Design and Process Engineer at Metal Treaters. Engel earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
