Fengru Huang serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Safdie Architects since July 2023, previously holding the role of Director of Finance and Accounting. From December 2012 to July 2023, Fengru worked as Controller and Accounting Manager at Acentech Incorporated. Prior to that, from September 2006 to December 2012, Fengru was the Accounting Manager at Carol R. Johnson Associates. Fengru holds a Master of Arts in Economics obtained from Tufts University during the period of 1999 to 2000, and further education was pursued at Northeastern University from 2009 to 2010.

The practice has its design headquarters in Boston with offices in Jerusalem, Toronto, Shanghai and Singapore.
