Daniel Marfurt

Daniel Marfurt has extensive work experience in finance and management roles. Daniel is currently working as the CFO at Safe, a position they have held since November 2023. Prior to this, they served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Nucleus Finance from May 2021 to October 2023. From November 2020 to October 2023, Daniel worked as the Group CFO at CasperLabs. Daniel also held the position of Head of Finance at Status.im from July 2018 to October 2020. Before that, they worked as a Manager at BearingPoint from September 2015 to June 2018. Daniel started their career as a Financial Consultant & Director at pro ressource - Finanzierungsoptima (acquired by Avobis) from July 2011 to January 2015. Daniel also has experience as a Financial Analyst at Suva in 2010 and as a Business Project Consultant at Nokia from February 2010 to April 2010. Daniel began their career as an Analyst at the Institute of Information Management, University of St.Gallen from July 2006 to December 2009 and also worked as an Asset Management Analyst at E.ON from February 2009 to July 2009.

Daniel Marfurt holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Economics from the University of St. Gallen, which they completed from 2009 to 2011. Additionally, they completed an exchange semester in Project Management at Aalto University in 2010. In 2009 and 2010, Daniel pursued the CEMS Master in International Management program at CEMS - The Global Alliance in Management Education, specializing in Business Administration, Management, and Operations. Furthermore, they obtained a Certificate in Crisis Communication from ZHAW Angewandte Linguistik in 2015. In 2005, Daniel earned a Certificate in Leadership 1 from Schweizerische Vereinigung für Führungsausbildung SVFA.
