Rashid Amrani-Khaldi

Community Engagement Coordinator at The SAFE Alliance

Rashid Amrani-Khaldi is an experienced education and community engagement professional with a diverse background in program coordination and teaching. Currently, Rashid serves as the Program Coordinator for the Neighborhood Conference Committee at Travis County's Health and Human Services, focusing on restorative justice for juveniles. In addition, Rashid has been the Community Engagement Coordinator at The SAFE Alliance since June 2019 and a Multicultural Arts Instructor at UT Elementary School since August 2013. Previous roles include Supporting Educator at Inside Outside School, where Rashid provided support for special needs students, and Educator at Austin Discovery School, developing cross-curricular thematic programs. Rashid began teaching at Cedars International Academy, managing subjects from Language Arts to Social Studies. Rashid holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Texas, earned between 1995 and 2001.
