Valerie Hope

Valerie Hope is a dedicated professional in the field of art therapy and counseling, currently serving as the Counseling Services Manager at The SAFE Alliance since January 2015. With a rich background in various therapeutic roles, Valerie held positions as a Contract Art Therapist at Austin Recovery and as an Art Therapist at Rock Springs. Additionally, experience includes serving on the Wellness & Training Team at the National Domestic Violence Hotline and chairing the Alumni Network for Texas 4000 for Cancer. Valerie's foundational roles also feature multiple internships in art therapy across notable organizations and volunteer work with Creative Action and the Austin Art Alliance. Valerie holds a Master of Professional Studies in Art Therapy from the School of Visual Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Scandinavian Studies from The University of Texas at Austin.
