Micah Grant

Micah Grant has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Their most recent role is as the Vice President of Communications and Government Relations at SAFE Credit Union since March 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Assistant Vice President of Corporate Communications and Public Relations at the same company from January 2021 to April 2022.

In terms of their political experience, Micah served as a Governing Board Member for the Natomas Unified School District starting in December 2016. Micah also held the position of Chair at California Black Media (CBM) starting in January 2013.

Micah has worked as a Political Consultant at MBA Public Affairs from December 2020 to July 2022, and as the Vice President at Mercury, a high-stakes public strategy firm, from January 2019 to December 2020.

Their other roles include Brand Consultant at Dynamic Vision Inc. from March 2014 to December 2020, Chief of Staff at the California State Assembly from April 2018 to July 2018, and Press Secretary at the California State Board of Equalization from March 2015 to April 2018.

Additionally, Micah worked as a Communications Consultant for the CA Senate Republican Caucus from October 2012 to March 2015 and for the CA Assembly Republican Caucus from June 2012 to October 2012. In these roles, they were responsible for writing editorials, floor speeches, press releases, and other literature, as well as consulting on message development for various mediums, particularly social media.

Micah Grant holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the University of California, Davis, which was obtained from 2005 to 2009. Additionally, Micah completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a specialization in Marketing at the University of Phoenix from 2009 to 2011.
