Jamila Cunningham

Jamila Cunningham is an experienced professional currently working as a Coordinator at Safe Families for Children since September 2023. In addition, Jamila serves as the Founder and Marketing Lead at Beautiful Message Ministries, where product development and international supplier partnerships for custom journals have been key achievements. As a former Foster Care Specialist at Vista Maria, Jamila managed over 13 cases involving children affected by abuse and neglect, ensuring compliance with state protocols. Experience also includes roles as an External Affairs Specialist and Intern at Comcast, a Discussion Leader for The Impact Movement at Central Michigan University, and Vice President of the National Association of Black Journalists’ campus chapter. Jamila’s early career includes marketing and advertising work, as well as positions in customer service and administration. Jamila holds a Bachelor's degree in Advertising and Psychology from Central Michigan University, earned in May 2021.
