Safe Families for Children seeks to keep children safe and families together. Safe Families for Children is rooted in faith, fueled by radical hospitality, disruptive generosity, and intentional compassion, to build a network of caring and compassionate volunteers to support families facing social isolation. Our goals are to prevent child abuse and neglect, reduce the number of children entering the child welfare system, and support and stabilize families. SFFC in Wisconsin is implemented in partnership between 1000 Generations, Inc, a Wisconsin non-profit organization, and the SFFC Alliance. In 2021, we launched Safe Families for Children-Wisconsin, a statewide chapter. The Wisconsin Chapter has 7 different Service Area Sites that reach 14 counties. We are located in Walworth County, Rock County, Jefferson/Dodge Counties, Racine/Kenosha Metro, La Crosse, Fox Cities, and Dane County
