Randy Blanchette currently serves as Vice President of Electronic Services and Director of Payments at SAFE Federal Credit Union since August 2022. Prior experience includes roles at Desert Financial Credit Union from May 2006 to July 2022, where Randy held positions such as Payments Program Manager, Senior Director of Contact Center Operations, and Director of Contact Center Support Services. Earlier in career, Randy was the Electronic Services Manager at Granite State Credit Union from 1994 to 2004. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in e-Business from the University of Phoenix (2004-2008) and an Associate's Degree in Information Technology from Southern New Hampshire University (1999-2003).

In 1955, 15 civilian employees at Shaw Air Force base in Sumter, South Carolina pooled their money to charter SAFE Federal Credit Union. Since then, SAFE has grown to over 130,000 members and just over $1.6 billion in assets. SAFE is the largest Midlands based credit union with 18 branches in eight counties in South Carolina.
