Guil Dametto

Guil Dametto has extensive work experience in the field of cloud engineering and IT management. Guil has worked as the Director of Cloud Engineering at Safe Fleet since April 2022, and previously served as the Cloud Engineering Manager from 2019 to April 2022 at the same company. Before joining Safe Fleet, Guil worked as a Cloud Engineering Lead at Seon from 2018 to 2019, and also held the same position at Ativo.com from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Product Manager at SMV IT Solution from 2015 to 2016, and as the Director of Warehouse Operations at Mobly from 2013 to 2015. Guil started their career as an IT Manager at Rocket Internet SE from 2012 to 2013, and worked as a System Engineer at various companies from 2006 to 2012.

Guil Dametto earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Applied Physics from USP - Universidade de São Paulo, where they studied from 2003 to 2006. Guil also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Project Management from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas. Guil previously attended Decatur High School for their high school education. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have obtained certifications such as FinOps Certified Practitioner from FinOps Foundation and the Safe Fleet 2022 Outstanding Leadership Award from Safe Fleet. Guil is also certified in LPIC-1, LPIC-2, and LPIC-3 by the Linux Professional Institute.
