Jose Contreras is an experienced professional in the food safety and quality assurance sector. Currently serving as a Food Safety Auditor at Safe Food Alliance since December 2017, Jose has previously held the position of Quality Assurance Manager at Crystal Creamery. Prior experience includes Laboratory Manager at Michelson Laboratories from January 2011 to May 2015 and roles at Mimi's Cafe as Waiter/Manager from June 2006 to January 2011. Jose also worked as Facilities Manager at NBBJ Architecture from August 1996 to January 2002. Educationally, Jose earned a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from the University of California, Merced, between 2006 and 2008.
