John Spencer

John Spencer has a solid career in law enforcement and aviation, having served with the Montana Highway Patrol as a Sergeant/Pilot since September 1993, where responsibilities include acting as Supply Sergeant and pilot for the 182RG/OH-58. In addition to current roles as a Firearms Instructor and State Trooper, John Spencer has been a Child Passenger Safety Certification Instructor for Safe Kids Worldwide since July 2006 and has contributed as a Hunter Education Instructor for Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks since 2000. Prior military experience includes retiring as a Major after serving with the Montana Army National Guard, where John Spencer was a Blackhawk driver from February 1990 to September 2010. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Northern Montana College (1985-1989) and completion of training at the MHP Academy (1993-1994).
