Jasper Baur

Jasper Baur is an accomplished professional in geological and earth sciences, currently serving as Cofounder and Lead Scientist at Safe Pro Group Inc. since March 2023 and as Cofounder and President of the Demining Research Community since July 2020. Jasper holds a PhD candidacy at Columbia University, having previously earned an MA from Columbia and a BS degree from Binghamton University, with additional studies at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Jasper's research experience includes modeling volcanic eruptions at the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory and detecting postwar artifacts using remote sensing technologies through various roles in research laboratories and organizations. Additionally, Jasper has contributed to environmental conservation efforts with the National Park Service and participated in innovative projects such as ocean energy deployments.
