Michael Leonard

Board Chair at Safe & Reliable Healthcare

Michael Leonard is the current Board Chair at Safe & Reliable Healthcare. Prior to that, they were the Founder and Co-Chief Medical Officer at Pascal Metrics from August 2007 to September 2013. Before that, they worked at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement. Michael Leonard started their career at Kaiser Permanente in January 2002, where they worked for nine years as the National Physician Leader for Patient Safety before leaving in December 2010.

Michael Leonard began their educational career with an internship and junior residency in Internal Medicine at Beth Israel Hospital/Harvard Medical School. Michael then completed their residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Missouri-Columbia, School of Medicine. After completing their MD, they began practicing medicine in the field of Internal Medicine.
