Mark McKinney

Mark McKinney is a seasoned professional specializing in cyber risk management, currently serving as a Risk Advisor at Safe Security since May 2024. Mark has extensive experience in assessing and quantifying cyber risks and developing risk models to aid organizations in making informed security decisions while leveraging industry frameworks such as FAIR and NIST to enhance risk management strategies. Prior to this, Mark worked as a Third Party Risk Manager at Viking, managing the lifecycle of third-party risk management processes. During tenure at Deloitte, Mark progressed from Cyber Risk Consultant to Cyber Risk Senior Consultant, leading significant projects in continuous monitoring and third-party oversight for Fortune 100 companies. Mark's earlier roles include Associate IT Auditor at Brigham Young University and a Cyber Risk Advisory Intern at Deloitte, along with a foundational externship at the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
