Amy Ambrose

Amy Ambrose, CFRE, MBA, MA, currently serves as the Senior Director of Development and Interim Director of Operations at the Simons Institute for the Theory of Computing at the University of California, Berkeley since August 2018. Additionally, Amy holds positions as Chair of the Development Committee at Safe & Sound and Vice President and Treasurer at the Alliance Francaise de Berkeley. Previous roles include Senior Strategist in Development and Alumni Relations at UC Berkeley and Assistant Dean of Advancement at UC Berkeley's School of Law. Amy's international experience features the role of Director of External Relations at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and Director of International Relations at UC Berkeley. Earlier career highlights include Head of US Strategy and Marketing for ETH Zurich and Account Director at Acxiom. Amy's educational background encompasses an MBA in Technology Strategy and Marketing from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, an MA in Theatre and Performance Studies from Northwestern University, and a BA in Dramatic Art and French from the University of California, Berkeley.
