Aparna Kota Kapash

Aparna Kota Kapash is an experienced healthcare professional and non-profit leader with a career spanning multiple roles in pediatric medicine and community service. Currently serving as a member of the board at the San Francisco Child Abuse Prevention Center and as president of Beautiful Lights Foundation, Inc., Kapash focuses on sustainable vocational training, education, and health services for underserved international communities. Additionally, Kapash has held the role of volunteer clinical professor at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland since 2003, where instruction is provided to pediatric residents and medical students. As a pediatrician with Kaiser Permanente since 1996, coupled with earlier residency experience at Oakland Children's Hospital, Kapash has a robust clinical background. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine from Chicago Medical School, a Master's in Public Health from San Jose State University, and a Bachelor's in Biology and Child Study from Tufts University.
