Michelle Wynn

Michelle Wynn is an experienced professional in finance and operations with over two decades of expertise in public health and epidemiology. Currently serving as the Director of Finance and Operations at Safe States Alliance since September 2007, Michelle oversees day-to-day operations and manages overall business functions for the association. Previous roles include Program Coordinator at STIPDA, where project management and RFP development were key responsibilities, and various positions at the Centers for Disease Control and the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry, focusing on epidemiological research and studies. Michelle's early career includes leadership as the Director of Communicable Diseases and District Epidemiologist for the East Metro Health District, managing significant budgets and supervising staff. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from Emory University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Emory & Henry University.
