Chris Banta

Chris Banta has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Chris started their career as an Actor, Model, and Voice Talent at AMT, Houghton, Peoplestore in 1987. In 1999, they founded their own computer consulting and repair company called "The Computer Kid," where they served as the Founder and Lead Consultant until 2010. During this time, they developed a strong repeat client base. In 2003, Chris worked as a Sales Representative at STI Knowledge Inc. and was later promoted to the role of Customer Service Representative. Chris obtained the Certified Help Desk Professional (CHDP) certification during their time there. From 2004 to 2006, they worked as a Technician at CompUSA Inc. In 2005, they joined Vigilar, Inc. as a Lead Manager. Chris then joined Geek Squad in 2009 as a CIA, where they worked until 2010. Since 2010, they have been working as the Director of Security and Automation at Safe Systems.

Chris Banta has a Bachelor of Science in Education (B.S.Ed.) in Engineering and Technology Education from The University of Georgia, which they obtained between 2007 and 2009. Prior to that, they attended Georgia State University Perimeter College from 2004 to 2006, where they pursued Business Administration.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Chris has obtained two certifications. Chris is a VMware VCP5-DV certified professional, which they achieved in October 2012.
