Jonathan Allen

Critical Minerals Policy Intern

Jonathan Allen has diverse experience in research, project assistance, and consultancy, most recently serving as a Project Assistant at The University of Chicago Hong Kong Campus, where 45 interviews were conducted to create a comprehensive triennial report on the impact of the Hong Kong Jockey Club programs. Previous roles include producing a research report on financial institutions and green finance policies as an L.C.K. Yung Research Fellow, and working as a Tech Consultant at Target, where skills in sales and customer service were developed. Jonathan has also contributed to global outreach efforts as a Research & Partnerships Intern for UChicago Global and served as a Voting Board Member for the City of Venice Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. Currently, Jonathan is a Critical Minerals Policy Intern at SAFE, while pursuing a Master of Arts in International Relations and Affairs at the University of Chicago. Jonathan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy Studies from the same institution.
