Jing Yong Ye

Jing Yong Ye has a wealth of experience in the field of biomedical engineering. Jing Yong has been a Co-Founder of SAFEbiosense LLC since 2019. Prior to that, they worked at The University of Texas at San Antonio from 2009 to 2019, in various roles including Professor, Associate Professor, Interim Chair of the Department of Biomedical Engineering, and Assistant Professor. Before that, they were an Associate Research Scientist (Research Faculty) at the University of Michigan from 2000 to 2009.

Jing Yong Ye attended Huazhong University of Science and Technology in China from 1984 to 1988, where they earned a B.S. degree. Jing Yong then attended the University of Tsukuba in Japan from 1993 to 1997, where they earned a Ph.D. in Applied Physics. In 2009, they attended the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business, where they earned a Certificate in MBA, MBA Essentials and Entrepreneurship Program.
