Haris Shekhani, MD, MBID is a co-founder of safeBVM, where they provide therapeutic expertise and leverages key opinion leader (KOL) relationships to drive the adoption of the SIP Safety Accessory device in various medical fields. Haris also established contractual relationships with publishing companies and recruited contributors for textbooks. Haris has experience as a Research Assistant at both the Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center and the Cleveland Clinic, where they contributed to research projects and manuscript writing. Additionally, they co-founded UrbanMusicDaily.net and served as a talent scout.

Haris Shekhani, MD MBID completed their education with a diverse background in biology and biomedical engineering. From 2004 to 2008, they earned their Bachelor's Degree in Biology, General from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Haris then went on to pursue their Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of Medicine and Health Sciences, completing their degree from 2009 to 2014. In 2017, Haris Shekhani continued their education by pursuing a Master's degree in Biomedical Innovation and Development from the Georgia Institute of Technology, specializing in the Biomedical Engineering Department. Additionally, they hold a certification as a medical doctorate.
