Michael Grazziani has over 19 years of work experience in the software engineering and site reliability engineering fields. Michael began their career in 2002 as a Senior Systems Engineer at Mail.com Media Corporation, where they were responsible for architecting, implementing, deploying, and managing open source solutions for the BGP network and web services infrastructure. In 2013, they joined Tango Me as a Site Reliability Engineer, where they reverse engineered the company's Java-based microservices architecture and automated a highly sharded database infrastructure. In 2016, they joined Uber as a Senior Software Engineer in the Site Reliability Engineering and Data organizations. During their time at Uber, they worked with the Advanced Technologies Group, Michelangelo, Apollo, and Business Intelligence teams to stabilize and scale their backend storage systems, machine learning model deployment groups, in-memory data stores, and legacy infrastructure platform. Michael also joined the Streaming/Kafka Core team in 2018, where they dedicated several years to ensuring Uber's Kafka core infrastructure and Streaming platform ecosystem met four plus nines of reliability. In 2021, they joined SafeGraph as a Software Engineer.

Michael Grazziani's education history includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Application Development from California State University, Long Beach from 2011 to 2013. Michael also attended Softect Solutions from 2001 to 2002, where they earned certifications in A+, Network+, and MCSA in Sun Solaris, Microsoft, and Cisco Networking Academy 1 & 2 Curriculum. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from Microsoft and CompTIA, including Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator, Network+, Microsoft Certified Professional, and A+ since 2000.
