Mary Cleland

Mary Cleland has extensive legal experience, currently serving as Attorney and Manager of Litigation & Claims at Safeguard Properties since March 2013, with prior roles including Staff Attorney, Convey Team Lead, Convey Specialist, and Client Account Relations. Mary gained early experience as a Law Clerk for George Mineff, Jr. Attorney at Law and a Student Attorney at the Youth Justice Clinic, where representation of juveniles in delinquency and education cases was provided. Additional roles include Student Representative for Law School Alumni Relations at the University of Detroit Mercy and a Clerk at the 3rd Circuit Court. Mary holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The University of Akron.
