Tamires Penna

Tamires Penna is an experienced project engineer with a focus on well design, well control, and managed pressure drilling (MPD) at SafeKick since February 2019. Tamires has utilized SafeVision® and Safe-MPD packages for both rig and office tasks, monitored real-time drilling operations, and contributed to software testing and approval processes. Prior to SafeKick, Tamires completed a Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering at Heriot-Watt University under a Galp scholarship, where a notable project included the development of a comprehensive field development plan. Tamires gained practical experience as a reservoir engineering intern at PetroRio S.A, where key contributions included the monitoring of production data and developing essential projects using reservoir simulator software. Earlier research at ANP/Petrobras focused on detecting leaks in oil and gas pipes and analyzing pipe deformation using ABAQUS Software. Tamires holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro.
